The Rational Room
"The Rational Room" is a high-stakes debating tournament where critical thinking meets quick wit. Unlike standard debates, this event penalizes rhetorical fluff and rewards logical consistency, evidence-based arguments, and the ability to deconstruct complex technical and social dilemmas. It is a battleground for the sharpest minds to prove that valid logic is the ultimate persuasion.

RULES & REGULATIONS
1. ELIGIBILITY & TEAM STRUCTURE
Participation: Open to all departments and years.
2. TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
Round 1: The Filter (Prelims)
Round 2: Semi-Finals
Round 3: Finals
3. GENERAL CONDUCT
Language: The official language of the debate is English.
Professionalism: Unparliamentary language, personal attacks, or aggressive behavior towards opponents or judges will lead to immediate disqualification.
Electronic Devices: The use of smartphones or laptops during the round is strictly prohibited unless explicitly allowed for a "Fact Check" phase by the moderator.
