Sustainable Energy-Efficient Food Innovation Challenge
Sustainable Energy-Efficient Food Innovation Challenge is a student-centric programme designed to encourage engineering students to develop innovative solutions for reducing energy consumption in food processing and preservation. The challenge integrates principles of sustainability, renewable energy, and smart engineering design applied to real-world food systems. Students work in teams to ideate, design, and present energy-efficient food technologies or processes. The programme promotes interdisciplinary learning, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking. It also creates awareness about sustainable development goals and the role of engineers in building a resilient food ecosystem.
